Education is the basic right of the child, which was not provided properly by the Govt. Schools. The standard of education was very nil and the govt. teachers who are supposed to teach were not present in the school most of the time. So ICDO; seeing the urgent need of education for the children leaving in the villages, ICDO opened schools in Latif Colony (UC 1 – Moro) and village Ligari Bijrani (UC Fatoo Bilal) for the betterment of the children living in that village so that they could have basic education.
Universal Primary School Education Programme
In cooperation with NCHD, ICDO trained 320 volunteers from12 UC’s of Moro for the enrollment of students. Also controlling the ratio of the drop out students from the school.
Adult Literacy Programme
ICDO opened 100 (Hundred) literacy centre’s at 6 UC’s of rural areas of Moro; in cooperation with NCHD. Ensuring 3000 female adult students being able to read and write. Also provided awareness & training to females regarding Mother & Child health.
Community School(Wisdom House Public School)
ICDO opened school at Latif Colony Moro, in this school poor students were highly supported by ICDO, Provided dresses, books, for poor students, at this time 130 students and 7 teachers are continuing the learning process
Temporary Schools for flood affected
ICDO Opened in village Dittal Korai , Village Lighari Bijrani, village Bachho Macchi, and village Tagyal Macchi, Schools for specially flood affected children’s ,schools were stablished with the support of Organi Pilot Project and Research Training Institute (OPP-RTI), The aim of this schools is to facilitate the affected children’s and provided free books and Pencils and Copies,
Schools with Sindh Education Foundation in IELP Program
ICDO opened 7 different villages of the District Naushero Feroze and one school in District Nawabshah (SBA) with the fund of Sindh Education Foundation where 1500 students and 25 Teachers are doing learning process with quality education.
